7 Golds, 3 Silvers, and 6 Bronzes! A Historic Breakthrough for Students in the College of Education at the 15th National Games!

On November 21, the 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China successfully concluded. In this highest-level domestic sports event, 42 students from the College of Education participated, showcasing their perseverance and determination on the field. With an impressive haul of 7 golds, 3 silvers, and 6 bronzes, they achieved a historic breakthrough, fully demonstrating the youthful spirit of ZJU’s College of Education students.

 

Shooting Events

On October 13, in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle final, Han Jiayu, an undergraduate sophomore in Sports Training, won the gold medal.


On October 14, in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Team final, Han Jiayu, Huang Yuting and Wang Zifei, all undergraduates from the Sports Training, claimed the gold medal.


On October 16, in the Women’s 50m Rifle Three Positions final, Wang Zifei won gold, while Han Jiayu earned the silver medal.

 

 

On October 18, in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Mixed Team final, Wang Zifei and her teammate won gold, while Han Jiayu and Shen Yuchen earned silver.

 


 

Table Tennis Event

On November 14, in the Table Tennis Mixed Doubles final, Liu Shiwen, a Ph.D. student in Physical Education and Training, along with her teammate, won the gold medal.


 

Tennis Event

On November 20, in the Men’s Singles Tennis final, Wu Yibing, a Master’s student in Humane and Sociological Science of Sports, secured the gold medal.


 

Badminton Event

On November 13, in the Badminton Junior Mixed Team event, Wu Zisheng, a first year undergraduate in Sports Training, won the men’s team gold medal with his teammate.


 

Cycling Track Event

On November 13, in the Cycling Track Men’s Team Sprint event, Lu Jiachen, a first year undergraduate in Sports Training, earned the silver medal with his teammates.


 

Artistic Gymnastics Event

On November 10, in the Artistic Gymnastics Women’s All-Around final, Li Jiale, Wu Jiayue, Lin Zixuan, and Li Ruixuan, all first year undergraduates from the Sports Training, won the bronze medal.


 

Gymnastics Event

On November 12, in the Gymnastics Men’s Team final, Tian Hao and Xie Chenyi, both undergraduate sophomores from the Sports Training, earned the team bronze medal.


 

Athletics Event

On November 16, in the Women’s 800m final, Rao Xinyu, a Master’s student in Humane and Sociological Science of Sports, won the bronze medal.


 

Canoe Event

On November 17, in the Women’s Canoe Double 500m final, Zhang Yajue, a junior undergraduate from the Sports Training, and her teammate claimed the bronze medal.


 

BMX Racing Event

On November 19, in the Women’s BMX Racing event, Gu Quanquan, an undergraduate sophomore from the Sports Training, won the bronze medal.


 

Football Event

In June, during the Women’s Seven-a-Side Football event, Xu Jiahui, Ge Tingting, Li Yanlu (all graduating students from the Sports Training), and Yang Xinyue (a junior undergraduate from the Sports Training) and their team earned the bronze medal.

Women’s 10m Air Pistol Team, 4th place: Sun Yujie (an undergraduate sophomore from the Sports Training)

Women’s 25m Pistol Individual, 4th place: Sun Yujie (an undergraduate sophomore from the Sports Training)

Men’s 10m Air Pistol Team, 5th place: Zhang Yingtao (an undergraduate sophomore from the Sports Training)

Men’s Rapid Fire Pistol Team, 6th place: Chai Shujie (an undergraduate sophomore from the Sports Training)

Men’s Horizontal Bar, 4th place: Tian Hao (an undergraduate sophomore from the Sports Training)

Men’s Table Tennis Team, 5th place: Yu Jining (an undergraduate sophomore from the Sports Training), Zhu Jiaqi, and Xiang Peng (both junior undergraduates from the Sports Training)

Women’s Recurve, 5th place: Li Muzi (a first year undergraduate from the Sports Training)

Women’s Taijiquan All-round, 5th place: Hu Shuting (a graduating students from the Martial Arts and Traditional Sports)
